Direct Support Professional (Day Program)

The role involves supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges in a day program setting. Responsibilities Ensure the safety and well‑being of participants during the day program. Supervise, coach, and assist participants in achieving daily living goals such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping. Plan, implement, and document programs that address the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of participants. Plan and participate in community‑based jobs, volunteer activities, and outings. Schedule and transport participants to and from the day program. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid, non‑provisional driver’s license. Minimum age 18 years. Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays. Empathy and teamwork orientation toward participant care. Salary & Schedule Starting salary: $20.42 per hour, with increase based on education and experience. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8 am – 4 pm. Benefits Time off benefits starting on day one.
