About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic interpretation, including sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy in support of multimodality operations
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to the appropriate location
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory

• ARRT certification: R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T.(R)(ARRT) required
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of California required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field; EPIC experience required

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Advanced certification in CT modality preferred in California
• Strong multimodality background with proficiency in at least two of the following: CT, X-ray, and OR; candidates proficient in all three areas are strongly preferred
• Experience supporting OR imaging procedures in addition to CT and general radiography
