The Assignment

Whispering Creek is hiring a Casual RN/ LPN On-Call to cover On-call needs for our residents in Janesville, MN. This role exists to ensure safe, timely nursing coverage when the schedule needs extra support.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide RN/LPN clinical care and medication administration per plan of care
- Assess, document, and communicate resident status changes
- Coordinate with the care team and respond to urgent needs
- Follow facility policies and nursing standards

Required qualifications/skills:
- Active Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Sound clinical judgment, clear documentation, and calm decision-making
- Reliable availability for On-call shifts; onsite work

Pay is $25 and up for LPN, and $30 for RN and up. Apply to pick up On-call Nurse shifts that fit your schedule. How Your Shift Runs

As a Casual On-call Nurse, you’ll arrive onsite, get a quick handoff, and focus on stabilizing the shift. You’ll prioritize what can’t wait, keep communication tight with the floor team, and handle changes as they come up. Some shifts are steady; others move fast, so you’ll reset priorities and keep residents comfortable and safe. You’ll wrap up by closing the loop on notes and updates so the next RN, LPN, or Nurse can step in smoothly.
