Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations, equipment, tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on engineering opportunity ideal for someone with a mechanical background who enjoys problem-solving and working directly with production teams on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

\n
• Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes, machinery, equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
\n
• Support the design, development, modification, and implementation of fixtures and manufacturing equipment.
\n
• Conduct Lean and Kaizen activities focused on workflow, equipment layouts, waste reduction, setup reduction, quality, and cost improvements.
\n
• Work closely with operators and other technical team members to identify and resolve manufacturing and equipment issues.
\n
• Evaluate machine performance, troubleshoot problems, and support implementation of operating procedures.
\n
• Develop manufacturing documentation, including tooling and fixture drawings, setup instructions, and operating procedures.
\n
• Support process design and modification projects.
\n
• Maintain manufacturing records and documentation consistent with ISO requirements.
\n
• Assist with estimating manufacturing and tooling costs for new products.

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred.
\n
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing equipment and processes.
\n
• Familiarity with SolidWorks, Creo/ProE, or similar 3D CAD software .
\n
• Exposure to tooling, fixture design, machining, equipment, or manufacturing processes preferred.
\n
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or continuous improvement is a plus.
\n
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project-management skills.
\n
• Comfortable working directly with operators in a hands-on manufacturing/shop-floor environment.
\n
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and eager to learn and grow within manufacturing engineering.
\n
