Join Our Clinical Team as a Counselor in Adult Substance-Use Treatment!

Location: California Facility 44871 Saint Andrews Church Road

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Summary: The California Facility of Pyramid Healthcare has been dedicated to serving local communities by providing structured programs that guide clients through detox, residential care, medication-assisted treatment, and family education for both men and women. With a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare in California offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare designed to empower clients. Our supportive environment fosters resilience, helping individuals at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation reclaim their health and well-being.

Shift: This position offers a locked-in schedule with the following available shifts:

• Weekday Nightshift: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM (4 hours per shift; 20 hours per week)
• Weekend Dayshift: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM (4 hours per shift; 8 hours per week)
• Weekend Nightshift: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM (4 hours per shift; 8 hours per week)

Total: 16-20 hours available per week.

Here at Walden, our Counselors:

• Provide elite-level care to adults seeking treatment by evaluating behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Facilitate all clinical services for clients, including individual and family sessions, therapeutic groups, and communication with referral sources/outpatient providers.
• Provide detailed and personalized aftercare planning and community outreach resources/referrals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Maryland ADT Status (Link: ADT Status Resource Page)
• Clinical Licensure (one of the following): LCADC, LCSW-C, LMSW, LGPC, LGADC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD

Employment Information: Due to the nature of behavioral healthcare work and our responsibility to ensure client safety, candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting-body regulations.
