As a Security Officer Unarmed Access Operations in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing visitors and vendors, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
