Physical Therapist - Day Shift

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. The role includes delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients and the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities. The Physical Therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self, while upholding the organization's Mission Statement and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions efficiently.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and promptly.
• Participate in student program as assigned, providing supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in professional development, pursuing continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
• Contribute to patient and professional advocacy efforts at community events.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• Must hold a valid, current state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience is highly desired.

Schedule

This is a Day 5x8.0 shift position.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
