Pharmacist Opportunities on the CA Central Coast - San Luis Obispo


Seeking experienced pharmacists for a rewarding 13-week contract at a well-regarded healthcare facility on the California Central Coast. This position offers an exciting chance to utilize your clinical skills in a fast-paced inpatient setting with a supportive team.


Openings:

• 2 Day Shift Pharmacists: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
• 2 Night Shift Pharmacists: 7 days on, 7 days off schedule (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)

Location: San Luis Obispo, California


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification with accuracy and efficiency
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring workflow continuity
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff providing medication consultations
• Manage pharmacokinetics and other clinical pharmacy duties essential to patient care
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management

Qualifications:

• Current California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptability to day or night schedules as specified

Schedule Options:

• Day Shift: 4 ten-hour shifts weekly (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Night Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off (9:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Contract Details:

• Immediate start preferred
• 13-week duration
