Under direct supervision, learns to process all types of incoming insurance mail, ( i.e., processing discount forms, driver change requests, cancellations, etc.), Dealer Desk, Answer insureds' calls regarding claims, payments, and change of address and provides Five Diamond Service during all transactions. What you will do:

• Process incoming mail, email, and faxes (i.e., discounts, driver change requests, cancelations, mortgagee requests including providing evidence of insurance, etc.).
• Answer insureds' calls regarding claims, payments, and change of address.
• Upload policy revisions via policy portals.
• Coordinate Dealer Desk functions, including exchanging information with insureds, car dealers, banks, etc. to facilitate vehicle changes.
• Build professional relationships with coworkers, agents and industry contacts.
• Process incoming checks, including uploading payment information via payment portals.
• Apply effective date of discount and ensure proper documentation is received.
• Correct errors on returned mail in a timely and effective manner.
• Send correspondence to insureds
• Crosstrain in other Agency Support functions; backup to other teams as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience

Clerical experience in the Insurance industry Required and Customer service experience Preferred
