Project Manager-Construction Services-Somersworth, NH

S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. is accepting applications for a Construction Services Project Manager based in Somersworth, New Hampshire. The role covers projects across the Seacoast region, including Portsmouth, Dover, Rochester, and surrounding communities in New Hampshire and southern Maine. This position involves overseeing construction materials testing, special inspections, and the development of the Construction Services team. Responsibilities As the Construction Services Manager (CSM), you will execute all aspects of project management including budgeting, project billing, proposals, scopes, schedules, and contract review. You will also oversee laboratory and field reports to ensure accuracy and quality. The CSM will supervise, train, and coach Construction Services Technicians, facilitate training, conduct performance reviews, and manage client communications. You will also seek business development opportunities and help connect with new clients to provide them great services. Field‑based team members may travel between the office and job sites using one of three options: their own vehicle with mileage reimbursement, one of the company’s trucks, or the Company Vehicle Program with personal use allotment. Qualifications & Requirements You should have experience in construction, testing, and inspections, project management, and enjoy working collaboratively with a mentor-like approach. You must understand and apply advanced industry‑related math skills, be comfortable using project management software, and have experience managing a team of employees. Prior experience with and valid certifications in Construction Materials Testing and/or Special Inspections are required.
