About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Urology Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Daytime hours, Monday - Friday (Staff rotate) Hours per Shift: 0730-1600, 0800-1630, 0830-1700, 0900-1730 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Be able to set up a sterile field and assist in procedures. Ability to place catheters. Description: The position involves working in a Urology Clinic setting. Nurses will manage a patient load of 33-40 patients per day. There will be 2 nurses, 1 surgical tech, and 1 CNA working collaboratively. Common diagnoses include BPH, hematuria, UTI, LUTS, frequency, cystoscopy, and prostate biopsy. No weekend or holiday shifts are required, as the clinic is closed during major holidays. There is no call or standby requirement for this role. Nurses may have the potential to float to other departments within specialty clinics, while job functions will remain the same. Scrubs of any color are acceptable attire.
