Senior Auditor

Location: Batesville, AR · Little Rock, AR · West Plains, MO (position may be filled in any of our three offices) Employment type: Full-time, on-site Experience level: 2+ years Compensation: Commensurate with experience About Us Welch, Couch & Company, PA is an established CPA firm of approximately 30 professionals serving clients across Arkansas and Missouri from our offices in Batesville, Little Rock, and West Plains. We provide audit, tax, and advisory services with the personal attention of a regional firm and the technical depth our clients rely on. We're growing, and we're looking for an auditor who wants to build a long-term career with us. The Role As an Auditor, you'll be a key member of our assurance team, working directly with clients and firm leadership on a variety of engagements. This is a hands-on role with real client responsibility and a clear path for advancement. Whether you're a few years into your career or well-established, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities include: Planning and performing audit, review, and compilation engagements across a range of industries Preparing and reviewing workpapers, financial statements, and related disclosures Testing internal controls and identifying areas of risk Communicating findings and recommendations to clients and engagement leaders Staying current on GAAP, GAAS, and relevant regulatory standards Mentoring and reviewing the work of less-experienced team members as appropriate What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or a related field with sufficient accounting coursework) 2+ years of public accounting audit/assurance experience CPA license or active progress toward the CPA — either is welcome Strong working knowledge of GAAP and GAAS Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites (travel is limited) Authorized to work in the United States What We Offer Competitive compensation based on your experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off A collaborative, people-first culture with genuine room to advance Your choice of three office locations across Arkansas and Missouri Welch, Couch & Company, PA is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Welch Couch & Company, PA
