Travel CT/X-ray Radiologic Technologist - Sitka, AK

Job Summary American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13 week assignment in Sitka, Alaska, starting July 13, 2026. Assignment Details Start Date: July 13, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hour evenings, 5 days per week Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Performs diagnostic radiography on all body parts for diagnostic interpretation. Operates CT and general radiographic imaging equipment in a hospital-based department. Maintains patient records and supports the departmental quality assurance program. Transfers patients to and from radiology and performs other diagnostic medical radiography as needed. Applies radiation protection principles and exercises professional judgment during procedures. Works with patients of all ages and cultural/religious backgrounds. Report to work within 20 minutes of being paged; may be on-call and required to take shift rotation. Qualifications At least 1 year of CT/XR experience. High school diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited CT/XR training program. Current ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications. BLS/BCLS certification. License to practice radiology, if required. Ability to assess and provide age-appropriate care across the full lifespan. Willingness to take call and report within 20 minutes.
