In our continual commitment to quality service, we maintain a dedicated, qualified, and appropriately credentialed staff in behavioral health and substance abuse.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations
- Confer with staff, patients, and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment.
- Treat a patient using psychotherapeutic methods and medication, monitoring the effects of any medication and adjusting treatment where necessary.
- Develop a treatment plan according to the patient's needs and the extent of the emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorder.
- Write and maintain patient and clinical records.
- Keep up-to-date with professional job knowledge by reading publications, attending educational conferences, or maintaining professional networks.
Requirements
Must have an active Maryland license with 10+ years of experience in psychiatry
Must be able to work 20 hours a week as a contractor at our headquarters in Hyattsville, MD
$130-150/hr.
