Job Opportunity: Anesthesiologists (General and Cardiac)

This role involves providing coverage in various settings, including hospital operating rooms, the endoscopy unit, the cardiac lab, and the ambulatory surgery center.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Full-time position with an annual commitment of 2100 hours
• Involvement in a variety of cases including vascular, orthopedics, spine, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, and cardiac procedures
• Minimal pediatric cases, primarily at the ambulatory surgery center
• Call Schedule: 1 weekend per month; 3 overnight in-house calls every 2 months; 4 second calls every 2 months

Requirements:

• New York State licensure and DEA registration are mandatory
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology is required

Compensation and Benefits Package:

We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Base compensation of $575,000 for call-taking positions
• An additional stipend of $25,000 for those specializing in cardiac anesthesia
• The stated salary represents the starting range and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift payments, or other cash compensation applicable to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is compliant with state regulations and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
• A sign-on bonus of $125,000
• Retention stipend for the initial two years
• Premium Pay and Excess Call Pay options available
• Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance
• Paid malpractice insurance, including post-employment tail coverage
• CME time with an annual expense allowance of $4,500
• 10 weeks of paid time off
