Education and/or Experience :
Completion of formal education sufficient to assure the ability to read and write at the level required for successful job performance and approximately one (1) year of part-time leadership experience in recreational activities.

- Leads free play and team activities for various age groups.
- Teaches fundamentals of play and sportsmanship in recreational activities on a seasonal basis.
- Explains, demonstrates and assists in supervising new and original games.
- Assists in supervising special non-athletic events and programs such as contests, dances, special activity days, various meets and tournaments and special excursions.
- Assists in administering first aid.
- May be assigned duties as a sports official on urgency basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
