SCM Analytics Developer

Overview The Supply Chain Analyst will support a long‑term vision by implementing business processes and leading organizational transformation. Primary Responsibilities Focus on strategic decision making in demand planning, replenishment, logistics, and nationwide distribution structure. Initiate and collaboratively develop opportunities with key stakeholders to improve processes and reduce costs. Assess current supply chains and recommend optimizations that leverage efficiency factors for cost advantages. Participate in management activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing competitive advantage. Assist Supply Chain Executives with timely, accurate, pertinent information and analysis, and support monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of performance metrics. Act as liaison between departments within and outside the supply chain organization, working cross‑functionally to develop strategic plans with a holistic approach. Partner with functional managers to understand current and future business requirements, identify, and implement process and organizational improvements. Design, test, recommend, and implement efficient processes to manage workflow and supply chain operations, optimizing resources with clear benchmarks. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data on inventory, forecast, sales, logistics, and finance. Apply advanced analytical methods and tools to develop and compute measurements on key performance throughout the supply chain. Prepare, design, and manage tabular reports, list reports, scorecards, and dashboards. Perform ongoing and ad‑hoc analysis of SQL data sets for management decision making and problem‑solving. Develop and routinely process Tableau reports and other analyses to monitor KPIs and support supply chain teams such as demand planning, inventory management, and logistics. Provide mentoring and support to other analysts in data utilization and self‑service tools. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Primary Responsibilities Proven ability to combine AI‑driven insights with analytical judgment to support business decisions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering. Three years of experience in supply chain functions or related roles. Expert knowledge in Excel, Tableau, SQL (desired), and query/report development. Strong analytical skills and ability to create Excel models and routine reports. Design and execute ad‑hoc queries from various systems including SQL Server, JDA, and SAP. Responsible for data and report accuracy, investigating and developing robust controls to mitigate future errors. Develop innovative approaches to business issues through data analysis. Interact directly with various supply chain departments and leadership regularly. Train other analysts as needed and improve current processes. Develop specialties in different SCM areas. Initiate process improvement ideas. Physical Demands Extended periods of sitting and typing/keyboarding on a computer or mobile device. Occasional walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, or stooping. May require lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20 lbs.
