In this role you will provide essential support across preschool classrooms and extended care programs ensuring a nurturing, engaging and safe environment for young learners. Enthusiasm and flexibility will help create a positive atmosphere where children can thrive socially, emotionally and educationally. This position works with a mixed-age group of children ages 2.9 to 5 years old. Responsibilities: Helping with child transitions Developing and implementing curriculum Ensuring child safety Engaging children in developmentally appropriate learning experiences Collaborating with staff to meet children's needs Maintaining open communication with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and behavior Located in the center of Beverly's historic downtown, the school is accessible by the commuter rail. Preference to a teacher already certified. Degree preferred but not required. All employees must pass a background record check as well as complete EEC's Essentials trainings before the first day of work. CPR and First Aid certification a must. At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Associate degree preferred.
