Assignment Overview

Join our Adult Medical Specialty Unit offering acute care services. We are seeking an RN with experience in managing patients with conditions such as cellulitis, sepsis, dehydration, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience with EPIC and central lines, and be comfortable working in a high-paced environment.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Acute Care
• Shift Details: 3x12 nights, 7-7:30
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating Requirements: Rotation to other acute care general medicine areas
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color professional scrubs
• Charting System: EPIC
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Manage acute care patients with conditions such as cellulitis, sepsis, dehydration, and respiratory failure
• Perform tasks like operating Bipap/Cpap machines and administering inhalers
• Collaborate with PCTs and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and professional development activities

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• BLS certification
• Experience with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes

Preferred:

• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Experience in a level I trauma center
