NGM - Capital Projects Senior Project Manager

The successful candidate is accountable for the safe, efficient delivery of assigned major capital projects from study phase through execution, commissioning, and handover. Responsibilities:Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards and applicable regulatory requirements (including MSHA).Provide overall leadership and direction for assigned capital projects, with single-point accountability for project delivery outcomes.Develop and maintain project execution plans, including contracting strategy, resourcing plans, schedules, and budgets.Lead integrated project teams comprising engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, and commissioning functions.Manage EPC/EPCM contractors, construction contractors, and vendors, including tendering, award, and contract administration.Control project scope, cost, and schedule; manage change through formal change management processes.Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; maintain project risk registers and contingency management plans.Ensure compliance with corporate investment governance, stage-gate requirements, and approval processes.Direct project reporting, including progress, forecasts, KPIs, and executive updates.Manage interfaces with operations, permitting, community, and other internal and external stakeholders.Oversee commissioning, ramp-up support, and orderly project closeout and handover to operations.Coach and develop project team members and support capability building across the projects group.Office-based role in Elko, Nevada, with regular travel to project sites and periodic time in Salt Lake City.
