Position Details Hours: 4.5 hours per day Contract Length: 182 days per year 170 student instructional days 4 holidays 7 planning days 1 extended day Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date Employment Status: Full-time (eligible for benefits) Employment Type: 10-month employee on the classified pay schedule Qualifications & Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required. Compensation & Experience Credit We value experience! New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. Pay Scale (2025-2026): Starting Pay (Step 0): $14.84 per hour Experienced Pay (Step 10): $16.89 per hour Payroll Note: While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June. Salary Formula: Hours per day × Hourly rate = Daily rate. Daily rate × Contracted days = Annual salary. Annual salary ÷ Remaining pay periods = Gross biweekly pay. Benefits Benefits include: Retirement: Membership in the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority (KPPA).
