Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Anchorage, Alaska.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: CT Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 12, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an outpatient imaging center requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification.Details\n \n Outpatient imaging clinic serving mobile patients, many for follow-up cancer diagnosis\n Performs IV starts, I-stat labs, contrast injection, and image post-processing\n 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays\n No Sundays or holidays required\n No on-call requirement\n May float to x-ray coverage within scope as needed\n Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment with PACS\n Epic charting system preferred\n Requirements\n \n Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required\n BLS and ARRT (R)(CT) certification required\n Fluoroscopy Permit preferred\n Compact state license must be in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable\n Experience with abdomen/pelvis CT with and without contrast\n Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar\n Chest CT experience with and without contrast\n Head and neck CT experience with and without contrast\n Experience preparing and administering contrast media\n Skilled in peripheral IV starts and venipuncture\n X-ray experience required in extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head/chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging\n Fluoroscopy and enema study experience preferred\n Neonatal and infant patient experience preferred\n Vascular CTA, CT arthrography, brain perfusion, and colonography experience preferred\n Teaching hospital experience preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Facility is a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital recognized as a top hospital in Alaska\n Scrubs provided\n Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities as needed\n First-time travelers are accepted for this position\n Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility\n Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate\n Only one time-off request is permitted per 13-week assignment, approved individually upon offer\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-757577.
