Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care during childbirth. This role involves working closely with pregnant women, mothers, and newborns to ensure safe and compassionate delivery experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive obstetric nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns.
• Monitor fetal and maternal vitals, and interpret advanced fetal monitoring data.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans tailored to each patient.
• Educate patients on labor processes, postpartum care, and newborn care procedures.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, including certifications and documentation.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation using Epic or similar EHR systems.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license with active BLS, ACLS, and NRP (provider) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Proven proficiency in advanced fetal monitoring and obstetric nursing procedures.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and adapt to flexible scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of hospital compliance policies, including background checks and work history verification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
