Patient Registration Representative

We are hiring a Patient Registrar in Staten Island !!!!!!! Shift: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours ⏰ Schedule: • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM • Wednesday – 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Contract Length: 13 Weeks Work Type: Onsite Only Candidates must currently reside in Staten Island Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week ✅ Requirements: • High School Diploma/GED • Minimum 1 year of clerical experience • Epic experience required • Customer service experience • Data entry speed of 4500 keystrokes • Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization • Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding • Strong communication, keyboard, and telephone skills Responsibilities: • Patient registration and scheduling • Insurance verification and authorizations • Maintaining patient records and charts • Coordinating appointments and medical procedures • Collecting co-pays and handling financial documentation • Updating billing codes and patient information • Assisting patients with payment options and Medicaid eligibility If Interested, you can reach me on my number View phone number on click.appcast.io or email me at View email address on click.appcast.io Pride Global offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts.
