Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, ensuring safety and comfort for critically ill patients. Flexibly support cross-unit needs, including PCU and MS, as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders.
• Monitor patient condition vigilantly, including assessing vital signs and responding to changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update care plans.
• Document patient information precisely in electronic health records.
• Float between ICU, PCU, and MS units as needed to support staffing requirements.
• Adhere to rotating shift schedules, including working consecutive weekends when required.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Hawaii RN license prior to the start date.
• Demonstrate experience or competency in ICU patient care.
• Possess flexibility to work across different units, including PCU and MS.
• Be able to work rotating shifts and weekends as scheduled.
• Show strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
