Our state-of-the-art services, amenities, and excellent staff make Kahl Home a premier nursing facility in the Quad Cities.

We are seeking to hire an Assistant Director of Maintenance.

• Full-Time: 8am - 4pm; Monday - Friday with on call weekend availability.

Assistant Director of Maintenance Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Building maintenance and supervisory experience required.
• Experience in Healthcare facilities is preferred.
• Preferred: Experience and knowledge in the function of low-pressure steam boilers, compressors, generators, fire alarm and sprinkler systems, etc. as well as various H.V.A.C., electrical, and plumbing systems.

Assistant Director of Maintenance Job Summary:

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the maintenance department, including department policies, procedures and job descriptions to assure that the maintenance of the premises, facility and equipment, is current at all times.
• Assist in all aspects of building and equipment maintenance.
• Assist in staff management, training and evaluation.
• Participate in facility inspections on a regular basis to ensure that the grounds, facility and equipment are maintained.
• Assist in maintaining the preventive maintenance program of cleaning, painting, maintaining facility equipment.
