The Logistics Specialist is a position within the Supply Chain Distribution Center network. They are responsible for a variety of tasks relating to e-commerce order fulfillment. The E-Commerce Specialist works collaboratively with internal partners including Operations Process Specialists, Customer Facing Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Deployment and DC Operations. The E-Commerce Specialist continuously improves e-commerce processes and is an expert on the flow and processes of e-commerce distribution center operations.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the site DC Manager, works closely with deployment, customer facing supply chain and project managers to:

• Coordinate deployment of materials into e-commerce warehouse to insure customer order fulfillment
• Maintain inventory accuracy of e-commerce warehouse
• In conjunction with DC Operations, ensure e-commerce warehouse is staffed to meet daily customer demands
• Liaison with internal and external transportation groups to ensure capacity is available for daily e-commerce shipments
• Collaborate on design and implementation of put-away strategies and replenishment activities for the local facility
• Participates in network continuous improvement projects to include future state initiatives
• Operate various computer terminals, printers and scanners to assist with execution of job duties
• Ability to flex work schedule to meet demands of e-commerce business as well as provide training and general assistance to future deployment locations
• Other projects and duties as assigned
