We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales organization across our plumbing, HVAC, and electrical departments.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands residential home-service sales and knows how to build and develop a high-performing team.

You'll be responsible for driving sales performance, coaching team members, improving sales processes, and working closely with operations and company leadership. This role includes both office-based sales management and hands-on field coaching, including ride-alongs with salespeople and technicians.

We're looking for someone who can lead from the front, understands what great in-home sales looks like, and knows how to use ServiceTitan, KPIs, and real-world coaching to improve team performance.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop sales team members across plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.

• Establish clear expectations and hold the sales team accountable to performance goals.

• Monitor sales KPIs including close rate, average ticket, revenue, lead conversion, and follow-up.

• Use ServiceTitan and other company systems to review sales activity, performance, opportunities, and results.

• Conduct regular coaching, training, and one-on-one meetings with sales team members.

• Conduct field coaching and ride-alongs with salespeople to observe customer interactions and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Help salespeople improve their in-home sales process, presentation skills, objection handling, and closing ability.

• Work alongside technicians to help improve how opportunities are identified, communicated, and transitioned to the sales team.

• Help technicians understand how to identify customer needs and create appropriate sales opportunities while maintaining a strong customer experience.

• Establish individual goals and development plans for sales team members.

• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, systems, communication, and customer experience.

• Partner with operations and installation teams to ensure sold work is accurately scoped and handed off smoothly.

• Help ensure customers receive a consistent experience from the initial appointment through project completion.

• Participate in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and developing sales team members.

• Build a sales culture centered around accountability, teamwork, coaching, and continuous improvement.

• Work closely with company leadership on sales strategy, forecasting, goals, and overall revenue performance.

• Analyze sales results and use ServiceTitan reporting and KPIs to make informed decisions.

• Lead by example and maintain a strong customer-first culture.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading and managing a residential in-home sales team.

• Strong understanding of residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related home-service sales.

• Demonstrated ability to coach salespeople and improve individual performance.

• Experience with field coaching and ride-alongs.

• Strong understanding of sales KPIs and how to use them to drive results.

• Experience using ServiceTitan or similar field-service software to manage and analyze sales performance.

• Understanding of how technicians, service calls, lead generation, sales, installation, and customer experience work together in a home-service business.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable having difficult accountability conversations when performance isn't meeting expectations.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Customer-focused mindset with a strong understanding of the homeowner sales experience.

• Ability to work collaboratively with operations, installation, and company leadership.

• A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to work alongside the team rather than simply manage from a distance.

What Success Looks Like

The successful Sales Manager will build a sales organization that is consistent, accountable, coachable, and customer-focused .

You'll help individual salespeople and technicians improve their performance while creating processes that allow Apollo's overall sales organization to grow.

Success will be measured through improvements in revenue, close rates, average ticket, sales conversion, team performance, customer experience, and employee development.
