Project Coordinator

This position will manage and provide support for a grant-fundedproject designed to develop a partnership between VCU and RISE forYouth to lay the groundwork for a broader study of system-involvedyouth in Virginia. The project includes meeting with current andprospective community partners; scheduling, coordinating andattending meetings with young people and their families; creatingan advisory group; communicating with the public and broadercommunity; assisting with focus groups; writing reports; recruitingparticipants and partners; and planning and launching a communityevent. Hours per week 10-15 hour Flexible Work Arrangements Primarily remote with occasionalin-person meetings in Richmond, VA Responsibilities include Managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities for theproject Daily communication with the project supervisor Weekly communication with project partners Weekly networking with community members Task planning and management Maintaining calendar and schedule for all activities, meetingdeadlines Internal and external communications with project staff andstakeholders Event planning Report writing Maintaining records Helping to design and conduct focus groups Required qualifications Experience working with a community organization Experience working with young people Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with MS Office products or similar software Attention to detail Quick learner Multitasker Experience with virtual meeting software Flexible schedule Preferred qualifications Proficiency with Salesforce software #J-18808-Ljbffr The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc.
