Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to deliver therapeutic services from the comfort of your home while avoiding the distractions of a traditional office setting. You will be equipped with the latest digital tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems that streamline your workflow, making client documentation and management efficient and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide virtual counseling and therapy to adult clients, focusing on developing personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs.

• Utilize clinical methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy to address various mental health disorders.
\n
• Engage in thorough assessments and evaluations to understand the unique challenges faced by clients, ensuring that therapeutic approaches are both relevant and effective.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and staff within the Detox Center to coordinate holistic treatment approaches for clients.
\n
• Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions and progress reports within the EHR system to support compliance and best practices.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, staying current with industry best practices and ethical standards in social work.
\n
• Handle administrative tasks related to client management, with the support of our dedicated administrative team, allowing you to concentrate on providing quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The client focus for this role includes adults aged 18 and older who may be dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Additionally, sensitivity and adaptability to the needs of diverse populations, including the LGBTQIA+ community, are critical to ensuring that all clients feel supported and understood.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active LCSW licensure in the State of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating expertise in social work practice.
\n
• Proficient in therapeutic techniques such as CBT and Psychodynamic Therapy.
\n
• Experience working with minority and diverse populations, with a focus on promoting inclusivity in care.
\n
• Professional malpractice insurance is required.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients in a virtual environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with men’s mental health issues is preferred.
\n
• Previous experience providing psychotherapy to clients of various backgrounds, particularly those from minority communities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
