Our client is arecognized aviation, aerospace, airline, manufacturing, or MRO organizationsupporting aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, production, linemaintenance, and/or airworthiness operations. PositionTitle: Lead A&P Mechanic / Aircraft MaintenanceCrew Chief JobOverview: We are hiring a Lead A&P Mechanic /Aircraft Maintenance Crew Chief to oversee aircraft maintenance activities,assign tasks to qualified mechanics and technicians, provide technicalguidance, and ensure maintenance is completed safely, properly, on schedule,and in accordance with FAA, customer, and company requirements. Responsibilities: Coordinatedaily work assignments according to aircraft schedule, manpower availability,and work scope requirements. Train, assist,and guide Mechanics and Technicians in proper maintenance procedures, safetypractices, and quality standards. Providetechnical assistance on aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, andmodification tasks. Monitorprogress of assigned work and identify issues that may affect aircraftschedule, quality, or airworthiness. Work withcustomers, managers, inspection teams, and core team members to resolveworkflow and aircraft maintenance concerns. Ensuremaintenance entries, work orders, task cards, and required documentation areproperly completed. Maintainsafety, housekeeping, tool control, part tagging, and preservation practiceswithin the hangar and around aircraft. Requirements: High SchoolDiploma or GED required. Valid FAAAirframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required. Minimum 3years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience required; priorlead/crew chief experience preferred. Ability toread and interpret blueprints, schematics, SRM, GMM, AMM, and other technicaldata. Strongleadership, task prioritization, problem-solving, communication, andinterpersonal skills. Ability towork independently, under pressure, and with all organizational levels. Ability towork overtime and variable schedules as required. Must be able tomove around aircraft, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. asrequired. Market-competitivepay rates.
