Job Details We're seeking an experienced Highway Engineer to design and manage different highway projects. This role involves design, working on diverse projects, provide mentorship with junior engineers and client coordination for complex roadway and multimodal transportation projects. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of highway and transportation projects, including: Roadway alignments, geometric design, multimodal projects and roadside safety Prepare and review construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports Ensure compliance with AASHTO, FHWA, and state DOT standards Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders Support business development through proposal preparation and client presentations Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering PE license in Maryland 11–15 years of highway engineering experience Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD preferred Experience designing and managing highway tasks and projects and preparing contract documents Interested in hearing more?
