Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus: A master's degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience. The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here. Job Duties Evaluate clients and recommend the proper level of behavioral health treatment. Interview clients to assess needs and problems such as education, employment, physical and mental impairment in order to determine the degree and nature of problems related to behavioral health. Provide advanced clinical services through individual, family, and/or group counseling to a complex caseload of behavioral health clients. Prepare person‑centered plans for clients based on recommended levels of care. Provide both written and verbal documentation and consultation to other agencies. Assist the clinic manager in designing and implementing programs that address community needs. Position‑Specific Details Location: This position is located at SCLHSA's Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), located in Thibodaux, LA.
