Make a meaningful impact supporting students across K-12 levels as a dedicated speech-language pathologist for the full upcoming academic year. This full-time contract position offers you the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families, helping to enhance communication skills that are vital to each child’s academic and personal growth.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Consult with multidisciplinary teams and provide input on educational strategies
- Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
