Warehouse Clerk

Job Title

Pay: Base Wage starting at $15.15; increased based on experience

Incentive Eligible Position: Yes

Essential Functions:

• Accurately checks in all items.
• Accurately stages items to be delivered throughout the hospital.
• Can effectively determine what duties should take priority.
• Monitors incoming freight for discrepancies.
• Stocks all incoming freight.
• Unloading various freight carriers.
• Is able to use a pallet jack.
• Is able to use an electric pallet jack.
• Able to perform daily cycle counts and annual inventory.
• Other duties as required.

Skills Abilities:

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels.
• Ability to complete competency CPR and First Aid.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical equations.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to distressed patients, families or visitors.
• Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.

Physical Demands:

• Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per workday.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climbing ladders.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with hospital supply chain processes.
