About the role of a Preventative Maintenance Oiler: The PM Oiler supports MNP's manufacturing divisions on the shop floor in all stages of material delivery including shipment activities, material handling, and receiving.Responsibilities of a Preventative Maintenance Oiler:Support material handling throughout all production stages, including receiving,staging, and shippingOperate forklifts (hi-lo) to move steel coils and manufactured parts betweenworkstationsStage and manage, tubs for manufacturing, ensuring continuous production flowAssist with expedited or high-priority orders as neededScan inventory tags and accurately enter data into computer systemsMaintain clean and organized workspaces; handle any material spillsappropriatelyIdentify and report missing documentation or incomplete paperworkFollow all safety protocols and company proceduresPerform additional duties and preventive maintenance tasks as assignedAdditional skills and/or experience required for success as a Preventative Maintenance Oiler:1+ year of experience operating a hi-lo (forklift) – certification requiredPreferred: Experience in a fastener or metal manufacturing environmentStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesBasic proficiency with computers and inventory tracking systemsSolid math and record-keeping skillsAbility to work independently and proactively plan material movementPhysically able to stand, bend, lift, push/pull, and be active throughout theworkdayBenefits of a Preventive Maintenance Oiler: Along with competitive pay, MNP offers employees BCBS medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, life insurance, flexible spending account, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) and 401(k) match, discretionary profit-sharing.
