Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant

Position Overview As a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team by performing venipunctures, assisting with patient care, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both phlebotomy and medical assisting, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities Perform venipunctures and collect lab specimens following proper protocols Assist with patient intake, including vitals, medical history, and documentation Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with procedures as needed Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system Ensure proper handling and transport of laboratory specimens Provide excellent patient service and ensure a comfortable experience Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Qualifications Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification required Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) Minimum of 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and/or medical assisting Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Benefits Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay Opportunities for growth and professional development Supportive and team-oriented work environment Join Medicus Spine & Joint and be part of a team dedicated to transforming lives through high-quality patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr Medicus Spine & Joint
