About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Current and valid state-issued ID required Certifications: BLS, EKG Course/Telemetry test, NIHSS, ACLS Must-Have: Med/Surg Telemetry experience required First-timers not accepted Description: Current and valid state-issued ID required. Utility bill in the Traveler's name with matching address within the last three months is necessary. Address must be greater than 75 miles from contracted facility. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted. RN MS/TELE position available for 3x12 Day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. Candidates must have experience in Med/Surg Telemetry. Floating to other facilities may be necessary to meet needs. Candidates must be willing to float if needed. No locals accepted; the local radius rule is 75 miles. Pending state license not accepted. COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Patient care includes a variety of diagnoses such as general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and respiratory conditions. Skills required include managing ports, administering blood products, and handling tracheostomy care. Candidates must have experience charting using Epic. Patient census includes adults and geriatrics with an average daily census. Position requires teamwork with interdisciplinary support. Only candidates with no license hits will be considered. Candidates must submit two supervisory references. Modules may be required and will vary by specialty.
