Consultant

Position Overview BRG’s EDI practice is seeking an experienced consultant to lead project workstreams, provide strategic guidance, develop analytical frameworks, and mentor junior staff. The work will involve both execution and oversight of engagement work streams that may be quantitative or qualitative. Responsibilities include designing economic, statistical, and financial analysis; modeling financial data and markets; managing client relationships; developing and presenting client deliverables; managing junior staff, quality control, industry research, and business expansion. Responsibilities Lead project workstreams and provide strategic guidance. Develop analytical frameworks and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses. Manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality client deliverables. Mentor and oversee junior staff performance and professional development. Lead quality control and industry research initiatives. Support business development and expansion efforts. Qualifications Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent). ABD or PhDs considered for the economist track. Minimum four (4+) years of experience in an advisory firm managing commercial disputes. Minimum two (2+) years of experience in antitrust & competition litigation matters. Strong understanding of and ability to explain economic, financial, and accountancy concepts and quantitative/qualitative analysis methods. Demonstrated leadership skills and effective communication with junior and senior staff. Experience with large data sets in Excel and/or statistical analysis programs (e.g., SAS, Stata, R). Track record of creating and implementing strategic visions. Strong desire to work within a highly collaborative team environment. Interest in consulting to generate business and establish expertise in the field. Salary Range: Senior Associate – $70,000 – $135,000 per year. Consultant – $70,000 – $150,000 per year.
