Orthodontic Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an Orthodontic Assistant in Flagstaff, Arizona ! This role is in person/onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Six-month contract, opportunity for extension or full-time offer

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4 days 7:30am to 5pm. One or two Saturdays per month

Pay: $20.00 to $23.00 an hour, based on experience

Responsibilities of the Orthodontic Assistant:

· Hand instruments, prep bonding materials, and assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures.

· Place or remove archwires, elastics, ligatures, and brackets under the doctor's direction.

· Take digital intraoral scans, physical impressions, clinical photos, and X-rays.

· Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments, trays, and treatment rooms between patients

· Teach patients how to brush and floss around braces, aligners, and retainers.

· Explain upcoming steps, answer questions, and ease patient anxiety during visits.

· Assist with urgent fixes, such as a loose bracket or poking wire

· Book recurring adjustment visits and manage the daily clinical flow.

· Update electronic health records, treatment notes, and patient progress charts.

· Restock clinical supplies and track specialized orthodontic equipment

Qualifications of the Orthodontic Assistant:

High school diploma or GED

Xray certification

Six months of experience

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
