Craft Recruiter OpportunityTake your next step with Saulsbury Industries!Location: Abernathy, TXType: Full time – On LocationReporting to the HR Manager and/or Project Manager, the Craft Recruiter is responsible for supplementing the craft/trades staffing efforts in accordance with project manpower and company needs. Also responsible for maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers, as well as successfully filling roles for the projects.Responsibilities/CompetenciesResponsible for full cycle recruiting process for assigned craft/trades staffing needs.Work with managers to understand and meet the staffing needs for the various business linesImplement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in multi-site operationsWork with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understoodTrack and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity for the project/projects.Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers, project managers and candidates to ensure efficient interview and recruiting processActively participate in career events, career fairs when requiredMaintain database information relative to assigned positionsAssist with verification and onboarding process of new hires as neededProvide support to candidates and new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding processPerform HR related duties as assignedJob Qualifications and Skills3+ years of industrial craft/trades staffing related to the oil and gas industry, construction, engineering or related fields.Ability to work on site in field office environment.Strong understanding and ability to recruit at all levels of the organization from entry level positions to journeyman and field supervisory level positionsExcellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team based project experienceClear understanding of the recruitment lifecycle processUnderstanding of applicable laws regarding employment selectionStrong time management skillsStrong experienced in recruiting through the use of social medial (LinkedIn, job boards,) a mustAbility to meet the attendance and punctuality requirementsExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and in depth knowledge of data mining and internet researchExperience in general HR functions is preferredAbout SaulsburySaulsbury Industries provides engineering, general construction, electrical & instrumentation, fabrication, capital projects & maintenance services to heavy industrial markets.
