Senior Systems Analyst

Description On-site in either Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH or Smithfield, RI Our client seeks a Senior Systems Analyst within Corporate Services Technology supporting Legal Strategy & Shared Services. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver technology solutions that enable compliant and efficient legal services. You will partner with legal stakeholders, engineers, product leadership, and vendors to translate complex needs into defined solutions and support execution across initiatives spanning discovery, litigation support, legal operations, and shared services. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $55.00 to $60.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities Partner with Legal Strategy & Shared Services to define clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for multiple initiatives. Plan and coordinate delivery activities including scope, sequencing, dependencies, risk management, milestone planning, and release readiness. Translate legal and operational needs into well-defined, compliant, and documented technology solutions. Drive execution by tracking progress, managing issues, and supporting on-time delivery of commitments. Coordinate across legal stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, and delivery partners to ensure alignment and continuity. Support and improve vendor-hosted and SaaS solutions, including integrations, data flows, and records management. Collaborate with Legal Platform Strategy on incidents, service requests, releases, and outages. Create and manage Jira stories, backlog, boards, and sprints. Facilitate scrum ceremonies and remove non-technical blockers. Contribute to modernization efforts to replace and integrate applications across the CORE Legal portfolio. Experience Requirements Senior‑level experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in regulated environments. Proven ownership of requirements definition, solution analysis, and delivery coordination across complex initiatives. Background partnering with Legal, Risk, Compliance, or Corporate Services organizations. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle from planning through release. Experience with dependency management, milestone planning, and release readiness. Working knowledge of data privacy, records retention, security, and compliance for legal systems. Experience with vendor-hosted or SaaS solutions and system integrations. Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and documentation. Comfort with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and data flows. Hands‑on Jira experience managing backlogs, boards, sprints, and scrum ceremonies.
