Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard Unarmed Compliance in Fort Lauderdale, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver professional customer service and communication. DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, package or shipment-related irregularities, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Guard card is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
