Senior Medical Science Liaison - Obesity and Related Conditions - Tallahassee, FL

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison based in Tallahassee, FL to serve as the primary scientific resource for obesity and related conditions. The role involves peer-to-peer engagement with opinion leaders and healthcare decision makers, supporting clinical investigations, and advancing Amgen's scientific platform across a multi-state territory.
Responsibilities
- Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchanges with obesity opinion leaders and population health decision makers
- Engage with clinical investigators and sites supporting obesity pipeline studies
- Communicate clinical and economic data to healthcare decision makers within assigned institutions
- Present field observations and clinical insights to internal stakeholders to inform strategy
- Lead and support medical congress activities and speaker training initiatives
Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 2+ years medical affairs experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years, or Bachelor's degree and 8+ years
- PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, or other doctoral degree preferred
- 7+ years medically related field experience including 1 year clinical practice or research
- 2+ years as medical science liaison in biotech or pharmaceutical company
- Cardiometabolic and/or obesity and related conditions expertise
- Strong scientific communication and relationship-building skills
