Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

Schedule: 3 x 12-hour Night shifts

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of neuro experience preferred
Travel experience required
Current state or compact nursing license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
EMR experience: Epic
Key clinical skills:

Management of ventilated patients
Central line care
Blood product administration
ICP monitoring, EVD and lumbar drain care
Post-craniotomy/post-neurosurgery care
TBI and spinal cord injury management
CVA/acute stroke management
Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun
Dysrhythmia interpretation/management

Compliance / Notes:

All requested time off must be listed at the time of submittal
Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
Orientation modules are completed onsite and are non-billable; RN average is 4-6 hours, Allied is 2-3 hours
