Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of neuro experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Current state or compact nursing license required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• EMR experience: Epic
• Key clinical skills:
• Management of ventilated patients
• Central line care
• Blood product administration
• ICP monitoring, EVD and lumbar drain care
• Post-craniotomy/post-neurosurgery care
• TBI and spinal cord injury management
• CVA/acute stroke management
• Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun
• Dysrhythmia interpretation/management

Compliance / Notes:

• All requested time off must be listed at the time of submittal
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation modules are completed onsite and are non-billable; RN average is 4-6 hours, Allied is 2-3 hours
