Physician Obstetrics & Gynecology - Competitive Salary

Job Description

A state-of-the-art medical center on Chicago’s northwest side is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join its collaborative and innovative women’s health team. This role offers a mix of obstetric and gynecologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with flexibility in clinic, surgical, and labor coverage to suit different practice preferences.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, day-shift schedule with a mix of office, surgical, and inpatient care
• Clinic hours: approximately 16–25 patient-contact hours per week
• Surgery: ½ day to 4 hours per week, including access to robotic surgery
• Labor call: 1–2 restricted in-house shifts per week/month with post-call time off; unrestricted call typically 1:3 (weekday + every 3rd weekend)
• Average deliveries: 7–12 per month per physician
• Clinic volume: ~20 patients per session
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including Certified Nurse Midwives, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, nurses, and support staff
• Electronic Medical Record system: Epic

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active or eligible for Illinois medical license
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centered women’s health care

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $330K–$425K with productivity bonus
• Sign-on and relocation bonuses available
• Full-time employed position with comprehensive benefits package
