Through the use of state-of-the-art CNC Technology, the client produces precision machined components and assemblies that benefit our customers in the automotive, truck, and bus industries.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Maintenance Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 26.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)The Machine Shop Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of computer numerical control (CNC) machines in a manufacturing facility.Performing regular maintenance on CNC machines involves inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machines to ensure they operate efficiently and accurately.Diagnosing and repairing machine problems identifying and troubleshooting issues with CNC machines, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and software-related problems.Conducting preventive maintenance.Keeping records of machine maintenance by documenting maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used to maintain an accurate maintenance history.Ordering and stocking machine parts ensuring that necessary parts are ordered and stocked to minimize machine downtime.Maintenance Technician Qualifications:Associate's degree or technical certification in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field.Experience in maintenance and repair of CNC Lathe, Mill, Grinders, Hydraulic Broach, Saw machines, Overhead crane, Forklift and miscellaneous equipment.Familiarity with various CNC software interfaces, such as FANUC and SIEMENSAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
