Job Description

EXPERIENCED TIRE & LUBE TECHNICIAN

Build Your Career — Don’t Just Change Oil

Starling Ford | Titusville, FL

Are you a mechanically experienced technician who is ready for more than the typical oil-change job?

Starling Ford is looking for an experienced, motivated Tire & Lube Technician to join our growing Service Department.

We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to punch a clock and perform basic maintenance. We’re looking for someone who  takes pride in their work, works with urgency, wants to learn, and has the mechanical ability to grow into a highly skilled Ford technician.

At Starling Ford, this position can be the  starting point for a long-term career in the automotive industry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll be responsible for a variety of maintenance and tire-related services, including:

• Tire mounting, balancing and rotations
• Wheel alignments
• Brake inspections and repairs
• Oil and filter services
• Fluid services and maintenance
• Battery testing and replacement
• Multi-point vehicle inspections
• Suspension and steering inspections
• Basic mechanical repairs
• Following Ford repair procedures and recommended service practices
• Performing quality work and helping us maintain our  Fix It Right the First Time standard

We’re especially interested in technicians who can  mount and balance tires, perform alignments, diagnose basic mechanical concerns, and handle light repair work independently.

THIS IS MORE THAN A LUBE TECH JOB

One of the biggest advantages of working at Starling Ford is the opportunity to  move forward.

If you have the mechanical ability and the drive to learn, we will help you develop your skills and work toward becoming a  Ford Senior Master Technician.

Your career path can include:

Tire & Lube Technician → General Service Technician → Ford Technician → Senior Master Technician

We’ll help you build the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to advance.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The right person for this position is:

• Experienced in automotive service or repair
• Comfortable mounting and balancing tires
• Experienced with wheel alignments or willing to become proficient
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform light repairs
• Self-motivated and productive
• Able to work at a good pace without sacrificing quality
• Dependable and willing to be part of a team
• Someone who takes pride in doing the job correctly
• Interested in learning and advancing their career
• Ford Asset Graduates

If you’re the type of technician who sees an empty bay and finds something productive to do, we’d like to talk to you.

WHY STARLING FORD?
