About the Position

Job Title: Anesthesia Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Anesthesia Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Compact license required at submission Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous travel experience required - Charge experience preferred - Experience with Epic charting system Description: Perm candidates from other facilities are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All facilities honor an active compact license. Experience in Ambulatory OR is essential. Familiarity with anesthesia machines and troubleshooting is required. Ability to assist anesthesia providers in critical situations is necessary. Skills in documentation of procedures and handling specimens are important. Candidates should be proficient in drawing blood via arterial line and venous stick. Attention to patient safety during various procedures is crucial. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Applicants must commit to working a minimum of 3 of the 5 specified holidays. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required. Travelers may not reach out to facility contacts directly unless instructed. Modules for pre-start training may be required and should be completed prior to the assignment. Inflexibility in scheduling may result in contract termination.
