divh2Forklift Operator/h2pThe Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of lumber and manufactured components throughout the yard. This role primarily operates outdoors and plays a critical part in loading and unloading finished products such as roof trusses and floor trusses, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery to customers./ppThis position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of safety./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliSafely operate a forklift to load and unload lumber, roof trusses, and floor trusses from trucks and yard storage areas/liliStage and organize materials for production, shipment, and inventory control/liliInspect loads to ensure accuracy and proper securement before transport/liliMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, both in the yard and loading areas/liliCommunicate effectively with drivers, production teams, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow/liliFollow all company safety policies and procedures at all times/liliPerform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs/li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliAbility to read, write, and effectively communicate in English; bilingual is a plus./liliBasic math skills (counting, measuring, verifying quantities)/liliStrong organizational skills and attention to detail/liliAbility to make timely and sound decisions and use resources effectively/liliPositive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to stay composed in challenging situations/liliWillingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions/li/ulh3Training Certification:/h3ulliNo prior forklift certification required/liliForklift certification will be provided through the 84 Components Fork Truck License program/li/ulpSchedule: Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm (eventual Saturdays are required)/ppPay: $20/hr/ppBenefits - Full benefits after 60 consecutive days of employment./pulliHealth, vision, dental, and term-life insurance/lili401(k) with employer match/liliAssociate Profit Sharing/liliMonthly incentives (2025 average for 12 months: $370)/liliFSA (Health and dependent care)/liliPTO, sick, and personal time/liliAnd, much more!/li/ulpTrain in all areas of the Yard Department to include operating various types of mobile and fixed equipment including forklifts, and loaders.
